ABOUT HORÆHOURS
We are a team of academics and young researchers from various European universities, specialising in Books of Hours and Fragmentology. We have been fighting biblioclasm for years, and we are now offering a unique service to ancient manuscript collectors.
From Books of Hours’ surviving fragments, through the WayBack Recovery Method, we are able to reconstruct the entire manuscripts whence scattered leaves were cut away.
Unlike dealers who hide the provenance of the leaves and fragments they resell, we offer a facsimile edition of the parent manuscript, thanks to which the collectors can see in which section of the manuscript the leaf they are purchasing was originally located.
We manage and resell the RECEPTIO Foundation's extensive manuscript and printed books collection.

ABOUT US
HORÆHOURS is the brainchild of Carla Rossi — professor of Romance Philology at the University of Zurich and of Applied Codicology at the Research Centre for European Philological Tradition of London & Lugano, a leading expert in medieval manuscripts for over thirty years —.
Also part of the team are the librarian Adrienn Orosz, PhD Nancy Impellizzeri, and the stagiaire Michela Cicalini.
